Subject:  Review - Explorer of the Seas - April 15 - 29, 2007

While it is has been four long years since i have been able to cruise I was finally able to get all the ducks in a row, and get off of federal probation, we sailed for 14 days on the Explorer of the Seas out of Miami.

Easter Caribbean, San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Nassua. What a trip. We found San Juan almost the same as my hometown of St. Augustine Florida, since they are both spanish you can see my point. Though I was not real impressed with San Juan we did walk around a bit and went to the Barcadi Rum Tour, that was ok, kind of a bummer really.

St. Maarten was great, clean, the people were friendly and i did not feel like i wanted to get my hair braided. =')St. Thomas was the best. The tram tour to the top of the mountain was great and what a view of the ship... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Nassua, have been there 7 times so we ate at the Hard Rock and went back to the ship.

Western Caribbean.
Belieze, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Grand Cayman

Costa Maya was the best by far. The water and landscape not to the mention the weather while we were ther was wonderful.

Belieze was nice, we went to the zoo ( animal sancutary )

Cozumel, they are redoning the pier and it was all torn up...

Grand Cayman was nice aswell and had fun explorering the beaches and the town as well.

The ship by all means was the reason for the vacation. My first mega ship and i found my self over and over again staring at the decore.

It was really neat being the last western caribbean cruise for the explorer since it is now out of New Jersey.

I have some really great pics at fotki/scooteribcruisin
