The ship is beautiful. This was our first RCCL cruise. We have cruised 5 times with Carnival & plan to do Princess in Jan. 06.We have been to Cozumel 3 times, but we had a fun time just taking a taxi to town and doing some walking. The same for Grand Cayman. We had never been to Jamaica and really enjoyed Dunn's River Falla. We were really looking forward to Labadee as on previous cruises, the weather had not allowed us to go to any private island.Well, the weather beat us again. It was very windy and altho we did stop, and i believe one boat tendered to the island, the ship was not able to stay anchored. We heard a really big BANG which followed with the captain coming on and saying we were not staying.(one of the ropes that tied us broke, that was the noise we heard.)May-be Princess Cays will be the private island we finally visit!!!!We have learned on our past cruises to carry on and have fun. Some things you have no control over.i really liked the Windjammer on Mariner .The Royal Promenade is beautiful. There was always plenty to do and plenty of deck chairs.(Something i never found on Carnival)Dining was great.Shows good. The ice show was the best, a must see.The downfall was that this was the ship that a reported 276 people got ill. It must of been more, because my husband was one of them and i know he did not get counted because he was sick on the last day and we did not tell anyone.Over all it was one of our better cruises. There really isn't such a thing as a bad cruise in our opinion. Can't wait to cruise again!!!!

Cruise reviews can be extremely helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write and tell us about it by using our special form here.  Sincere thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the benefit of shared information and experiences.
