Subject: Review - Sovereign of the Seas - July 12 - 16, 2004

Another great trip on the Sovereign of the Seas. This was our second cruise on this ship in 2 years and enjoyed every minute. Those who give bad reviews about this ship are just looking for something to complain about. CoCo Cay is absolutely beautiful, there are so many things to do while on the island, we enjoyed the waterpark (small but fun) and taking the waverunner tour. Nassau is not one of my favorite ports but we did some shopping and took the Thriller speed boat tour which was fun but as always the stingray snorkeling on Black Beards Cay is my favorite, you get to snorkel, hold, feed and pet the stingrays, a lot of fun and the island is beautiful. Staterooms are small but who cares, if you are there for anything more than sleeping you are missing out on something! Windjammer is convenient and food is pretty good, room service is included so use it even if you just have your coffee delivered to your room every morning before you can go to the diningroom.

Food in dining room is obviously the best, had the best filet mignon I have ever had and try 2 desserts (or entrees) if you can't decide! Don't miss the Quest game, if you are going to play be prepared to take off some articles of clothing!! Comedians were also very good. Like everything in life, it is what you make of it. If you have a good attitude you will have the time of your life.

Cruise reviews can be extremely helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write and tell us about it by using our special form here.  Sincere thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the benefit of shared information and experiences.
