We had a wonderful cruise. Ten days in the Caribbean was awesome. We enjoyed every island we visited. The ship was very nice. The minature golf course was fun and we played a couple of times. We ate in the formal dining room every night except once because we were on an excursion that night. Our wait service was friendly and very good. Food was good with the bread, soup and deserts being the best.

We took several exursions. In St. Thomas we think the beach excursion to St. John is the best. Be sure to take your beach towels from your stateroom. The beaches in St. John are not commercialized so there were no beach chairs. But that is what makes St. John is so terrific.

We went also went on beach excurions on St. Maarten and St. Lucia. Also beautiful beaches and beach chairs were furnished. In St. Maarten you could rent a double umbrella for $3. We didn't have time to eat lunch before our excursion (we were running late due to shopping). We thought we would grab a hot dog at the beach. We did but it cost $18 for two hot dogs with fries. That's all the money we had left after renting the beach umbrella. We obviously did not bring enough cash to the beach! Thank goodness the excursion furnished free rum punch so we had something to drink.

In Barbados we went on the Five Start Catamaran Lunch and Sea Turtle Encounter. It was very nice and the crew really takes care of you. Most people snorkled but we didn't and it wasn't any problem. After lunch we went to a beach so everyone could swim. The excursion started off with champagne and orange juice. After snorkling and starting with lunch beer and rum drinks were free flowing. Everyone had a great time.

We would go on this cruise again.

Cruise reviews can be extremely helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write and tell us about it by using our special form here.  Sincere thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the benefit of shared information and experiences.
