We had the time of our life. Everything was wonderful, and what wasn't, someone on the Splendour made it that way. We drove to Galveston early on Monday Nov. 17, 2003. The weather was awful all the way. Wind and lots of flooding. We got there several hours before boarding time but due to the weather conditions they unloaded our SUV and we went directly on board and they fed us a very good lunch which was not a part of the trip. Our party consisted of my husband and I, and my very hard to please brother and his wife. My brother was due to have knee replacement as soon as we got back and they took such care of him I was afraid he would cancel it. I won't go into a lot of detail but if it would have been any better I would have stowed away and just stayed on the Splendour. The only regret about the trip is not enough pictures and we should have gone on more tours. This getting out on your own is the pits and you end up not seeing anything. All four of us were very pleased and would go back in a minute, even my brother. By the way he is scheduled for knee replacement on Tuesday Jan. 13, 2004. I don't think rehab is going to be like the Splendour of the Seas, those poor physical therepists, they will earn their pay next week.

Sincerely
Linda Lilley

Cruise reviews can be extremely helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write and tell us about it by using our special form here.  Sincere thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the benefit of shared information and experiences.
