This was a first cruise for my husband and myself and we had a blast.  The ship was very nice and clean.  All employees we very friendly and helpful..  Jack was our room attendant and he did a wnderful job.  I loved the towel animals.  Alonzo was our waiter at dinner and he did a wonderful job very attentive at all times.  This cruise was everything I imagined from  the ship to all the fun we had on our excursions.

Our first stop was Key West and we were the only ship in port so that was nice.  We did not plan anything special just walked around shopped and watched the beautiful sunset.  We did go to Jimmy Buffets for a Cheeseburger in Paradise.  The weather was about 75 but got chilly in the evening.  Very fun town.  This was the best sunset we saw on the cruise.

Out next stop was Belize and what beautiful waters.  We did the snorkeling tour and saw a 6 foot nurse shark.  We got some wonderful pictures while snorkeling.  The weather in Belize was around 85 to 95.  After snorkeling they drove us to a beach resort where we had lunch and were able to lounge around for about 1 1/2 hours before returning to the ship. On the way to the ship they went through a channel surrounded by Mangroves and we were able to see a dolphin swiming around the boat. That was a wonderful experience all in its own.  I am from Michigan so seeing a dolphin was quite an experience.  I wish we were able to go into Belize City would have loved to walk around and see some of the local life. While in Belize we were the only ship in port.

Next stop was Cozumel and to the Tulum Ruins.  We chose the ruins and shopping tour.  On the way to the ruins you stop at a jewerly factory called Lapis but we were only allowed 25 minutes to shop.  Was not to happy about that but what can you do?  After the brief shopping we were on our way to the ruins.  Ruins were a beautiful thing to see.  The ocean behind them was spectacular.  We got alot of wonderful pictures.  Be careful of the lizards walking aound.  They usually run if you get to close.  It was very hot and humid, but I was not complaining.  I was soaking in the rays because when we came home it was 10.  After the ruins you were driven back to Playa del carmen where you had an additonal 1 1/2 hour to shop before the ferry left for Cozumel.  When back at cozumel had only 1/2 hour to shop.  When we returned to the ship the Voyager of the Seas was docked next to our ship.  That is one big ship.  The Rhapsody looked like a baby ship next to that monster, but it was neat to see.  We were one of 5 ships in port on that day.

I cannot say enough good things about this vacation.  We are already planning our next cruise with Royal caribbean of course.  One more thing I want to mention are the shows.  They were really good, but the best show was Friday night. The Coasters were on board.  They had everyone dancing in their chairs.   The Casino was another story.  I dont think anyone won anything on this cruise.  The machines were so tight it was not really even any fun to play.

Again this was the best vacation we have ever taken.  Thanks again to Royal Caribbean for all the fun........
