If you want to be pampered, take this cruise. Even in some of the coldest weather, we were never bored. This beautiful ship, with its wonderful crew, kept us from noticing the extrememly cold weather. The food was fabulous. Entertainment was top notch. Although we had no children on board, there were always well organized activities available. We dined in the first seating, and our waiters, Maximo and Samuel, were  two of the nicest, most efficient people you can imagine. Always friendly, and always there to make our dining experience a highlight of the day. I don't see how there could be anyone else in the Edelweiss dining room any better. Virgil, our stateroom attendant, made us laugh everyday with the towel animals he made while we were out. I especially liked the aardvark nose monkey with my sunglasses on, hanging from the light fixture in the middle of the room.
The music was beautiful. The pianist in the dining room played some of our favorite show tunes. The entertainers on ship were top notch.

The Windjammer room on 9 was a favorite of ours. They served a fabulous buffet three times a day. I don't know how I am going to get back to cooking my own meals again!

The exercise room, trivia, shuffleboard games among a few, were a must. There was dancing  every night, and we had at least 32 newly married couples on board.Several 50-60 year married couples, and one 100 year old lady.

It doesn't make any difference what age you are, or what capacity you have, this is the cruise for you.The elegance and superior service make this a must for you.

The only complaint I have is not with Royal Carribean, but with the Port Authority. Debarkation was a nightmare at the time you get out of the terminal. I had to wait outside for our car for an hour, and there was not a bench anywhere to sit on. They need to have transportation ready to take people, along with there luggage, to the lots where their cars are parked. This was not pleasant.  --Mary
