The was the first cruise for my wife and I and it was more than we ever hoped for. No complaints. Everyone was courteous and the service was impeccable. Our stateroom attendant, John and bartenders Pavlin, Kelly, Reynaldo and Brian (ok, so we spent some time at the bars) were all outstanding. This set a new standard for vacations for us. We're already planning our next one!

One piece of advice... our ship was scheduled for boarding at 2:00pm. My wife recommended we get there early (11:00am), which I thought was a tad excessive. It turned out she was quite right! Boarding began at 11:20, which they admitted was earlier than normal. Nonetheless, we were on board and exploring the ship by 11:30!

Lastly, I had received advice from veteran cruisers that a passport would expedite the boarding process in lieu of a birth certificate. Nothing could have been further from the truth. We brought our birth certificates and driver's licenses and took no more than 5 minutes. In fact, the couple in line ahead of us had passports and took significantly longer. Based on our experience, if you don't have a passport, don't sweat it.

Cruise reviews can be extremely helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write and tell us about it by using our special form here.  Sincere thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the benefit of shared information and experiences.
