I want to tell you how wonderful this cruise was.

We departed from San Juan late at night so we were able to wonder through San Juan all day.  St Thomas, we visited Koki beach for a change since last time we went to Megan's Bay.  The beach was beautiful.  Antigua where we visted Dickenson bay at Sandals beach.  This beach was so pretty and we loved it.  First we tried to get into the rum factory but were unable.  St Martin, we visited orient beach which is also lovely but the waves are so rough, i was thrown under water and lost a good pair of sunglasses. St Lucia we took the excursion to the volcano (pitons) and then came back by catermaran.  The tour guide through this was a lady named amelia and she was so informative and interesting.  This tour was 78.00 and included lunch and stops for shopping and the boat was fun.  In Barbados we did the Harrisons cave tour for 58.00.  This took us to the flower forest also.  When we returned, we wondered through town and then took a cab to Malibu factory for a tour and to lie on the beach.  Some things to advise you of.  The us dollar is worth much more in barbadoes so be careful and deal with the vendors.  Barbados is very civilized and there is much industry there so people seem to be less intrusive on the beach and when selling their stuff on the beach. Also, the jewlery on the ship was just as discounted as the prices in town.  The ship itself is wonderful.  we had a waiter named Daniel who was very funny.  The only problem is the beach towels.  The boat was very stingy about this.  I don't like to beg for towels or track down an attendent. The one important thing to know is that if you take a tour, try to do this witht he cruise line.  In st Lucia, the boat engine went and we were late getting back to the ship.  Had we done this on our own, the ship would have left but they called ahead and it worked out just fine.

Cruise reviews can be extremely helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write and tell us about it by using our special form here.  Sincere thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the benefit of shared information and experiences.
