We had a fabulous trip aboard Navigator.  She was a beautiful ship-just magnificent.  Every space was truly breathtaking.  The service, as always, was outstanding.  This was our second cruise with RCCL-our first was on Enchantment (Western Run). As with our first experience, we had the time of our lives.  My children (12 and 7) may have enjoyed themselves even more than my husband and me.  We boarded in Miami @ approximately 11:30 am and it went very smoothly.  I noticed a great deal more security than our last cruise which was reassuring.  We proceeded to our cabin which was ready and met our stateroom attendant Emancia from Jamaica.  She was excellent.  Then we toured the ship and went for a bite to eat at Jade and Windjammer.  I loved Jade.  With the exception of dinner and a few breakfasts we had via room service, I ate there for the rest of my meals.  It was a great addition.  We spent the rest of the afternoon by the pool straight through the sail away party-which is one of my favorite times!!  It was very festive.  Dinner was nice that evening and our waiter Oliver was great.  We had some cocktails post-dinner @ the Cosmopolitan Club and even danced in the Dungeon.

First port:  Nassau.  Shopping was OK.  I personally was not impressed with this port.  We were only there until 2:00pm which did not leave us with much time to do anything without feeling rushed.  We boarded the ship around 1:00pm and enjoyed the pool deck for the rest of the day.  In between pool festivities, my son, husband and I climbed the rock wall.  Don't miss this.  The view is great.  We even wound up on the video during the last show on Friday.

Day at sea:  great!!!! Always so relaxing.  Again, we spent the whole day by the pool with bits of wandering around the ship throughout.  This was our first formal night and it was nice.  The ship was very rocky until about 5:00 am on Tuesday.  I was surprised at how much movement you felt given the size of Navigator.

Second port:  St. Thomas.  My daughter and I went scuba diving at a center on Coki Beauch.  It was great.  The beach was spectacular.  We spent a few hours there before heading back for some shopping.  My husband and son went on the Atlantis submarine.  They loved it.  We later went to Megan's Bay for some more beach which was beautiful as well.  I loved St. Thomas.

San Juan:  Yuk!!!! Too crowded and hot.  Although we did hike up to el Morro Fort which I would recommend.  It was beautiful as were the views.

Labadee, Hispaniola:  This port was my favorite.  It was just beautiful.  It was awesome to see an island so unspoiled.  The sea was warm and relaxing and the locals were very interesting and friendly.  We got some teriffic bargains on quality arts and crafts sold by the natives.  Keep bargaining.  You'll be surprised at how low they will go before they draw their line on a price.

Day at Sea:  great again.  and then, Disembarkation.  We waited on the pool deck until close to 11:00pm and had a relatively quick disembarkation.  I would rather enjoy my time waiting there than in long lines.

Overall,  I loved our trip.  Every minute of it.  RCCL is a first-class cruise line for a great price.  I would like to extend our appreciation to all the staff on board.  They work so hard to make your vacation enjoyable.  I truly do not understand why or how anyone could complain about such hard-working people.  Remember to thank them often.  I look forward to our next cruise.  Happy sailing to all!!!
