This was the most fun I have EVER had on a cruise.   I went solo and particpated in a Murder-Mystery weekend sponsored by Whodunit.

EMBARKATION/DEBARKATION
I drove to the dock ... It was fairly simple to get there, but I had to drive around and drive back in (I guess it's procedure) I filled out the online form buit there was no special line -- I guess they are still getting used to people having it. When I checjked in, the woman said I could have gone straight to the "GOLD" line because I'm in the Crown and Anchor Club --- there was no sinage except for Plantum and Diamond -- I guess I'll know for next time. Everyone has to go through Immigration individually (new procedure after Sept. 11) it was pretty fast and then, since I took my luggage off myself I was able to leave in the first group.

THE SHIP: The ship layout was the same as the Rhapsody and as far as I could tell, everything was clean and in good working order (except there was one elevator that had kind of a strange odor, which we all thought might have been because someone got sick in the elevator) Cabin was perfect -- just me in an outside cabin with a porthole. I didn't spend that much time in the cabin so a balcony was not necessary -- although some people I met had one and really enjoyed it. I also got to see a suite (those things are nice!)

The STAFF ... our assistant waiter Stephanie was as sweet and cute as can be. Didn't get turn-down service the first night, my steward said he got tied up with missing luggage ... but the next night I had  a great-looking elephant!

WHODUNIT: The Murder-Mystery portion wqas so much fun! Notes were sliped under the doors and strange phone calls were made to the room. We all got to "play" a role in the Diamond family. I recommed it to anyone who likes having fun.

OVERALL: Food was typical ... FUN was amazing. THe Halloween party and decorations were great! Plan to go next year with the new friends I made :)

Overall: Two big Mango Tangos way up!

Cruise reviews can be extremely helpful to new and experienced cruisers by giving the cruise vacation consumer's view of various RCCL ships and ports. If you've sailed aboard an RCCL ship, we hope you'll write and tell us about it by using our special form here.  Sincere thanks to those who take the time to do this so that others can have the benefit of shared information and experiences.
